Lab Printing

QPS Lab Printing is designed around convenience, quality and value. We endeavour to place a stand alone printer or a multi-function (print and copy) device within the libraries and into your school or faculty lab. The print devices are modern, high quality using high speed laser technology. The cost is extremely competitive and when compared to other institutions the price is low for the quality of service offered.

Students can print A4 Black and White via a QPS Print Release Station from any student computer laboratory at QUT, or from the students' own laptop. The Print Release Station allows the student to collect her/his job from any networked printer on any QUT campus. In some labs A3 printing is also available. Colour printing is also available at each campus via the Print Release Stations.

For higher quality colour or black and white printing or for long run print jobs and other printing services, QPS's Digital Media Production service is available at the Gardens Point QPS Service Centre, located at Level 4, V Block. Jobs can also be submitted online and picked up from your nominated QPS Service Centre.

Printing From Your Laptop

QPS lab printers may be accessed via your personal laptop. Instructions on installation of these printing services can be found on the Information Technology Services website.
